But the Fords are constantly moving the bar that they set for himself. Ford went from "I'm finished drinking, come to Jesus, etc" to "I drink sometimes, whatever." in just a few months.

I'll be very surprised if nothing has come out by mid-September. Last time, Ford managed to keep his substance abuse under wraps November through mid-January.

So that is two and one half months. Between Nov. to Jan. I believe he actually tried to get his act together through exercise and body building mantras. Now it seems he is just under the watchful eye of his entourage. The drinking may be reduced but he is high ALL the time, either prescriptions or street drugs (or both). He won't get totally out of control unless he lets the bottle take over.

Let's not overlook the fact that even a dolt this thick may realize that, after the fourth or fifth crack smoking/drunken stupor/racist rant/murder threatening crack video drops, if we're gonna party, phones go in a bucket by the door - no exceptions. Sandro, you too man. That measure alone should buy him a few good "clean" weeks.

AND, I complained to CBC radio about the "professional announcer" who was recorded and played ad nauseam saying "nyney nine poin one." (They made him fix it.)

I also make an audible distinction between "you're" and "your," for all the friggin' good THAT does these days...

Me too. I've been here since 1976, but my English bones always make me pronounce it "Tor-on-Toe". Consonants, Imo should be spoken unless proper English dictates otherwise. However, one could also argue that the community sets the ever changing and unofficial rules of the language. But if I have to hear another resident of Markham or Scarborough refer to their communities as Mahkam or Skahboh I'll lose more hair.
 
Right now, given the Fords' increasing brazen shamelessness, I'm wondering if they're actively courting a *criminal* vote above all--i.e. those with criminal convictions, or with children or good friends with criminal convictions, or with the spectre of looming conviction above their heads. And who see the Fords as an emblem of (or means to) the freedom they desire.

Who knows how large a motivated share that is.

According to Jimmi T, he had implemented this rule BEFORE the second crack video was taken. I guess when you're smoking crack, it's hard to have the presence of mind to stringently enforce such rules.
