Exactly. I'm all for catching Rob Ford in lies but there is no shortage of them in which catching him in them doesn't also include the further destruction of the reputation of a girl who, as another commenter mentioned, is essentially his collateral damage. I'm willing to let this one go and focus on the DOZENS of more massive violations of the public trust and instances where he's put others' lives in danger.

But it HASN'T been a slow news day, that's the thing! The last 3 pages of this thread which I had to wade through would have been much more interesting (and entertaining) if they were speculation about what's brewing behind the scenes between the Federal Conservative apparatus and "Ford Village" (vis-a-vis Jason Kenney's comment), or speculation about how horrible the Fords must have been to get the boot after less than 24 hours on Ezra Levant's hate network, etc.

(rather than the other stuff which I won't get into, since obviously we are all trying to get this thread back on the rails)

The Toronto Star live chat today was pretty adamant that there is no connection between Ford and the Anthony Smith murder and no evidence that the video was shot on Smith's cell phone.
