I think a lot of people are complaining about the architecture on a number of proposals. I just don't think the incentive is there right now to build anything special. The demand is so strong that the units will sell regardless. It's really up to the regulators to force more effort in this...

    Wow...that was quick!

It's not really a podium as it just comes off the front. It's more of a Lobby extension.

I think because they don't need to. The Holt Renfrew Tower, if that's what it's called, will be excellent marketing already. They'll save the 90+ story tower for SW corner of Y&B...perhaps.

Casa 2 Condos (Cresford) - Real Estate -

I had a chance to look at the brochures, floorplans and pricing on this. Overall, looks like they are staying with the wrap around balconies from Casa. The floorplans, as per the trend around the city, are smaller than those in Casa. VIP pricing looks to be around $700 sq. ft. There is only...

Yeah...it's quite interesting. You really need to go and look at it because the pictures don't really capture it. It's a tri-tone, tri-texture type cladding. The light grey is a metallic, the medium grey is a glassy type of texture that you see a lot of now in kitchen backsplashes, and the dark...

Yeah, people need to chill. When i went in last year and saw the model and read the contract i said it would be 2018 before it would be completed...a full 8 years from the sales opening! Looks to be on schedule for this. i think it will go something like this: Not much through this winter...a...

Yeah, they changed it along the way. I wasn't trying to be a 'stickler' for details, but i bought a unit on the 20th floor so your post alarmed me!

I checked my contract and it says 2 to 18 are 8 ft. and 19 to 40 are 9 ft.

Something's got to give IMO. The pool is small, but also the sittting out area around the pool is also very small. The whole setup there really is designed from one small building like it is now. Doubt they are going to expand the pool....but maybe expand the 'laying out' area. Overall, not up...

To me this supports the idea of no connecting tunnel. The pool is very small, and Couture is very big. I'm sure they would rather discourage Couture residents from using the pool...as it really is too small for the 2 buildings. Just my thoughts on it.

Yeah....starting to look like they're using the parking lot for building equipment storage lot. Can't believe the city isn't all over them for this. Unbelievable eye sore. It's really unacceptable how long they've dragged this on. Seems like it's getting too late in the season to start digging...

I don't think so from what i recall. Think it will be open area on the west side of Couture. Also, it appears the early stages of the west side of the building are taking shape. I paced it off the other day and it protrudes about 20 feet beyond the west end of X Condo.

I've done this walk a lot. It's definately a lot easier and quicker walking to the waterfront than it is going the other way because it's an easier downhill walk to the water.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Here vs....??? If the currency movement was truly all behind us there would not be so much concentration in Australia and Canada. And not to Speculate on currencies...those are your words. If they wanted to speculate on currencies they could trade currencies on Forex. More of a movement to...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

We are seen as a resource based economy which has been strengthening our dollar for the last few years, similar to Australia. Expectation is for the price of commodities to continue to go up this decade, which is good for our economy, and hence our dollar. For international investors that...

Five Condos (Graywood Developments, Mod Developments) - Real Estate -

Yeah, when i size condos, i look at the big picture, as the broad math should work. When i eyeball this plan it looks roughly 33x20 to me which is about 660...so their 674 is very reasonable in this case. As for fitting in the king size bed into the bedroom, you can just about forget about...

    Toronto Casa II Condos | 184.09m | 56s | Cresford | a—A

They will need to do something special for sure as the location is not as good as Casa. They are boxed to the west by BSN and to the South by Casa and Chaz, and to the North there is a condo as well, on the North side of Haden, though not super high. So they are going to need some unique...

    Investment Property, wait or buy?

Well, the penthouse for the Four Seasons just sold for $28million to an internatonal investor. This to me speaks volumes about how the Toronto market is viewed. This guy could have parked this money anywhere in the world!

Yes..and Charles west is still littered with beaten up looking rentals and of course the horrific Manulife center brooding over. Actually, Charles west between Yonge and Bay is a mess! Charles west starts to get better west of Bay with a couple upscale condos and then you are into UofT...
