Having tacky and ugly flags and blankets scattered along the front of a parking lot along a major street trying to sell crap out of a storage container, making the neighbourhood look cheap is not the same as having a pride flag in a profile picture.

Demolition of the old Starbucks building/sales centre has begun. For the past few weeks there has also been work being done along Aukland but don't know if that's related to this or if the city or another party is doing some unrelated work. Either way, progress on the site.

Good news for the area. That site as it is now is a complete eyesore; also, so glad to eventually no longer see a flag vendor in the parking lot.

From Today

Construction fence is now gone, sod is laid and a new sign by the Beer Store has now been put up. Exciting times for the area!

There is now a chain-link fence around the lot...

Despite Loblaws being the spawn of all evil...having one of these in the area would be largely beneficial.

Couldn't agree with this more! The area lacks severely on areas for people to sit and dine.

The presentation centre is near complete. You can even see the kitchen model through the window. Exciting to see the launch off this project!

They've placed signage along side Jopling Ave where they demolished the homes. The art and concept behind them is quite nice, shame it's not on a busier street so more people could see.

The site is now wrapped with the name of the development, The Clove.

The design change is very disappointing. The previous design would have been a contrast in the area.

Was walking by the area yesterday and noticed that the signage about the project are back up on the fencing...

Any news on this development?

This site is such an eyesore and is now just a blank cavass for spray paint and garbage...

So much potential for this site...seems to be little to no interest in developing...
