Toronto California Condominiums | ?m | 32s | Camrost-Felcorp | Onespace

Having never lived or purchased a condo before, sorry for sounding ignorant, just wondering what's behind all that blue/gray spandrel?? on the inside of the unit it is going to look like any other interior wall? ok for hanging pictures etc? or like frosted glass which one can't see through?? Bought a condo recently, initially was lead to believe it's going to be floor to ceiling windows all across, but if spandrels are used, it would just end up looking like regular size windows.

If you look closely at the architectural drawings / elevations / scaled model (if accurate), you should be able to distinguish spandrel glass (opague) vs vision glass (clear) .... mind if I ask which building dwynix3?

Usually those pains of glass have insulation behind them then are drywalled like normal.

This pic was taken on June 24 2011 from Queensway, just east of Parklawn. It's obviously the building with the crane on top :)

Our dataBase entry for California is up now here.

It's still on Camrost's website...

what building are those close up shots taken from?

iLoft. Those units that are South of the elevators will not have their views tarnished, but those units that are North of the elevators - they get this view.

Last year, you could see the Toronto skyline from this vantage point. This year, you will be able to see into someone's bedroom. You'd think with all the land in this area that the developers would try to set back the buildings from one another a little further.
