It looks like a Ford brother at the OnStar number was informed of the situation, but otherwise most of Lisi's calls were to Price or the Deco cell phone. If it was Rob Ford involved in the domestic assault, then the OnStar number must be Doug Ford. So the Deco cell phone would be Rob Ford, which makes sense since it was the origin of the very first phone call, minutes after the domestic assault call. The holder of the Deco cell phone (Rob Ford) only called or was called by Lisi, but Lisi also called the OnStar number (Doug Ford), and his next calls were to Doug's man Price. He only called Price after talking to Doug.

"I can guarantee you, that didn't happen," he said.

"It was kind of like what they did to Jesus," Doug Ford said of what he describes as a modern-day crucifixion.



Doug Ford is the brother that just keeps giving and giving. Remember he's the smart one.:cool:

I felt the same for a while, but I think the humour is more effective in spreading the anti-Ford message, than anger. Many people have been ranting, and raving about Ford for three years, only to be written off by Ford Nation as socialists. The jokes are just easier for the ignoramuses (Ford Nation) to understand. This isn't as ideal as Ford Nation learning how to think critically, but that's never going to happen.

The jokes are also a good coping mechanism for the people who have already put in a lot of time being angry with Ford. Being angry for three years straight isn't exactly healthy.

Re all this talk of "enablers" and such, something dawned on me: technically, the most poignant (and constructive?!?) Rob Ford "enabler" of all might have been none other than his seatmate on Council, Jack Layton...

I wish passive, enduring truth were actually able to destroy lies and sway public opinion, but it does not; Any multitude of organized religions around the world, climate change deniers and anti-science groups prove that. People will always *want* to believe in lies that soothe and comfort and give a false sense of empowerment, over cold, bitter truth. That is human nature.

Truth requires playing by a set of social and ethical rules, and thus is limited in its reach and ability to sway. You must fight to reveal the truth, it cannot sit around languidly waiting to be discovered. Or by the time it finally gets dusted off, too many minds have already been set in stone. This is the whole reason that journalism exists, and why those who have an agenda set in lies always attack the press first.
