Rob Ford's Toronto

Where is he denying and threatening legal action? Is it Doug or Rob? I think we all know the last thing these idiots want is to be scrutinized in a court of law.

I just saw it on CP24, he threatened it against Mark Towhey and some other people.

"It was kind of like what they did to Jesus," Doug Ford said of what he describes as a modern-day crucifixion.

We all recall those passages in the Book of Luke when Jesus goes on his famous opium bender, starts harassing his apostles, and sleeps with all the prostitutes in Jerusalem.

And of course, then there's the scene at the crucifixion when the Roman soldiers debate for hours over whether to officially "request" Jesus to step down as head of the Christian Church, or simply refer the matter to the Office of Caesar.

"I'm fine," he said. And Doug, who acknowledged that his brother has been engaged in some bad behaviour, said he draws the line at suggestions there was involvement with an escort.

"I can guarantee you, that didn't happen," he said.

"It was kind of like what they did to Jesus," Doug Ford said of what he describes as a modern-day crucifixion.

Well, Jesus did tend to hang out with a lot of prostitutes, criminals and degenerates. His home life was pretty messed up, and he ran into some pretty serious problems with the law. So yeah, Doug, your brother is exactly like Jesus.

Twitter is going crazy. Ford apparantly had this to say when asked about a prostitute:

...Ford responded to allegations that he had told a former woman staffer that he would “eat her pussy.” He responded “I’m happily married, I have more than enough to eat at home.”

Edit: You guys beat me to it

So if you're curious as to what Rob Ford's reply is to the sex allegations. Here it is:

"I'm happily married, I've got more than enough to eat at home".

No thank you Mr. Ford.

The consensus seems to be 1. you can't sue someone on the basis of comments made during a police investigation and 2. if he does sue, he maybe asked to make sworn statements.

Some councillors want to report me to the Integrity Commissioner, but she'll rule in my favour once I go down on her.

Too funny.

I would indeed imagine that you can't sue based on comments during a police investigation because if you could, no one would ever say anything!

It's not a very well thought out strategy, that's for sure. It's clearly to intimidate; in practicality, all it does is force all the ex-staffers to hire lawyers at $10,000 contigencies to correspond with Ford's lawyer(s).
