It's less a monetary than a strategic issue - I felt sorry for Dale being put in this impossible condition of having to weight his reputation to the bigger picture.

He can afford it without the crowdfunding - though I believe he found gym a more effective treatment to an addiction problem that he has not seen and might not exist.

My guess would be Multiple-Personality disorder, when one sleeps... it would also prove the passive agressivemess from time to time.
