Dec 25
Have no time to comment as I am heading to Dutton for Christmas Family Dinner, first thing Monday and just uploaded these videos. They are at night and the best I could do.

So by the looks of it Hurontario Street has an exit from the express lanes? That's pretty crazy... I thought the tunnel thing was a transfer/basketweave thing.

Based on the plans it appears it was always planned this way.

For that flyunder it says "Hwy 401 Core - Hurontario St. N/S"

Whoever made this sign can spell amazingly! :p

Seems they also forgot to put in the exit number on the Hurontario St. sign, and the regional road numbers on the other (or do they not include those anymore?).

Does anyone really use Region of Peel road numbers? They don't seem to appear on signs at intersection of regional roads. Signs should be as simple and uncluttered as possible.

I agree. As far as I can recall, all of the signs along the 401 between Pickering and Whitby have the regional road numbers. I think I see them at intersections too

Wow I've seen that sign while driving through before but never noticed Mississauga was spelt wrong. That said, a lot of people can't seem to spell Mississauga.

Was by the intersection yesterday and last week and surprised to still see the footing of the old bridge still in place.

The new eastbound ramp off Hurontario North bound lane is now open.

Paving has been done for the on ramp to the 401 eastbound for the southbound lane so the current section can be move south so they can start working on the new concrete lanes.

From the quick look I saw of the northbound bridge, looks like they have the rebar lay with some concrete pour.,

Being trying to find a Sunday to get up there to take some shots, but haven't found a day so far.

Yeah I drive on the 401 daily and keep waiting and waiting for the old bridge footings to come down. I guess they're not in the way?
