I have advocated for years to do the Tram-Train move from the Milton Line to the Hurontario LRT to get to/from Sq One and this is one of a
number of system doing it. It can be done very easy to do it at the Cooksville area. You can add more sections as needed to keep CP happy until there are 4 tracks in the corridor as well a fly-under at the Humber River area.
It would be nice to see it 100% electrify from day one, but battery power is round the corner.
Since there are plans to have 300' LRV's running on Hurontario, it will be no problem to do so on the CP/Metrolinx corridor.
To do it for KW will be a major problem. Better chance with Hamilton or other areas that may go the LRT route.
