Dundas St Rapid Transit (Metrolinx, Mississauga, Halton Region, CoT)

Has the east stops been revealed. At least for me that’s where I’ll be going so it’s what matters most.

If I'm reading this correctly, the bus lanes at Mississauga road will switch from being in the middle of the road to being curb side? Which means the buses will have to drive through traffic? Why can't they just keep the lanes in the middle? I don't see why the Dundas BRT can't be designed exactly like VIVA's BRT on Yonge st..

Curb lanes will be for buses only marked in red, other than a right hand turn. The density and ridership don't support a full BRT for at least 2 decades, if at all.

VIVA Yonge and Hwy 7 have more going for their BRT than the light BRT on Dundas/

I'll take "Things that will not happen" for 1000.
Given Metrolinx looked at it during the EA for Hurontario that had legs until Hydro One shot it down as it didn't want it and the bus terminal under its wires. Since TTC site is Hydro One land, there are 4 ways to deal Hydro One.

1: have the Kipling stop on the surface at Acukland
2:: Have a stop at Subway Dr forcing a longer walk to TTC.
3: Underground station at Acukland doing a cut and fill.
4: Get it close to TTC underground as possible doing a cut and fill

If the subway was extended to Cloverdale as plan, don't have to deal with Hydro One and that is where the Regional terminal was to be in the first place as well allowing TTC to have a larger Transit Terminal

Does this line connect to the Hurontario Line?? If so, it will required Hurontario Intersection to be close 4 months to build the T connection and the shutting down the LRT south of the GO Station for 4 months with bus service doing the work if Mississauga has the buses to do it.

Where is the bus terminal to handle the buses west of Hurontario as well the buses picking up riders between the stations that are too far apart?

I presume they would need to build a wye in order to access/reuse the Hurontario MSF. Cant really think of a good place for one along Dundas in that stretch.

That is why I stated 4 month closure and no LRT Service

You can put the bus terminal under a development in the north east corner where CIBC is as that area is to be redevelop.

Another option is running the line to Mavis Rd and put the bus terminal there which means extra transferring to get to Hurontario Line.
