With Doors Open welcoming thousands into Toronto’s architectural sites and Pride Month kicking off across the city, summer feels close, even if the weather hasn’t quite caught up. May, 2025 brought a wave of progress across Toronto’s tallest towers and largest transit projects, fuelling conversation and clicks across UrbanToronto. Rebranding, redevelopment, and regional growth all played a part this month, as threads, database files, and headlines reflected a city in motion.

Let's review our top stories, database files, and threads for May, 2025.
