Our annual Growth To Watch For series is back for another year, bigger, taller, and more comprehensive than ever before. Over the course of the year, we're bringing you to every significant development happening across the 416 and beyond into the Greater Toronto Area. We're covering everything from brand new proposals, to those inching their way through the planning process, to those already under construction or about to be completed.

A total of 25 reports will be available to subscribers throughout the year, with 18 previously released. (Details about how to get them can be found at the bottom of this article.) For a taste of what's offered in the 19th report, here's a sneak peek at the area highlighted.

Our U of T, West of Downtown report picks up where our previous report left off, starting off wandering through the University of Toronto's St George Campus, then going west on College all the way to Dufferin Street before turning eastwards again towards the core via Dundas Street, Alexandra Park, Queen West, and ending up in the AGO/OCAD U area.

The area covered is set to feature some daring architecture in the coming years, much of it thanks to the various educational institutions like the University of Toronto and OCAD U bringing increasingly striking designs to their campuses. A few examples in the pipeline include the U of T's Diller Scofido + Renfro and architectsAlliance-designed Centre for Civilization and Cultures, as well as the Weiss/Manfredi Architects and Teeple Architects-designed Schwartz Reisman Innovation Centre, as seen below.

New Growth to Watch For 2019 reports are being released on an ongoing basis, each covering a different section of the Greater Toronto Area. The series' upcoming 20th report will into the heart of Downtown Toronto, where the tallest and densest developments in the region are planned or unfolding.

Subscribers can get access to the complete existing and future reports for the year on our Growth to Watch For 2019 landing page. Subscribe today as a standalone subscription purchase for $199+tax, and you'll receive access to all 25 reports.
