Our annual Growth To Watch For series is back for another year, bigger, taller, and more comprehensive than ever before. Over the course of the year, we're bringing you to every significant development happening across the 416 and beyond into the Greater Toronto Area. We're covering everything from brand new proposals, to those inching their way through the planning process, to those already under construction or about to be completed.

A total of 25 reports will be available to subscribers throughout the year, with 15 released earlier. (Details about how to get them can be found at the bottom of this article.) For a taste of what's offered in the 16th report, here's a sneak peek at the area highlighted.

Our latest report moves east of the Downtown Core, picking up south of where our last instalment left off, now at the doorstep of the Canary District and Corktown neighbourhoods. A zigzagging route carves northward, giving an overview of all projects about to be completed, all buildings currently under construction, and all proposals working their way through the planning process in an area bounded by the Don Valley to the east, the rail corridor to the south, Sherbourne Street to the west, and Bloor Street to the north.

The area highlighted in this report includes an incredibly diverse cast of development types, ranging from smaller-scaled projects like a mid-rise condo proposal at 18 Eastern Avenue, all the way up to major full-neighbourhood redevelopments with new tall towers like the ongoing Regent Park Revitalization. Office towers like The Shift and institutional developments like a proposed data centre on Parliament Street.

New Growth to Watch For 2019 reports are being released on an ongoing basis, each covering a different section of the Greater Toronto Area. The series' upcoming 17th report will move into the Jarvis & Church corridors, where even more growth is unfolding.
