Earlier this year, we introduced Phantom Developments' TeaGarden Condos, a boutique residential project coming to Bayview and Sheppard. Situated amidst the greenery of North York, yet with close proximity to the Sheppard subway line and across the street from the Bayview Village Shopping Centre, the 12-storey development offers an attractive hybrid of downtown amenities and uptown comfort.

Designed by Kirkor Architects, the project will bring 111 residential units to Teagarden court, a leafy cul-de-sac tucked north the intersection of Bayview and Sheppard. The development will feature a combination of condominium suites and unique two storey 'Town Lofts,' with the upper floors occupied by penthouses.

The two storey Town Lofts—which will be on the 1st and ground floors—infuse condominium living with a spacious and luxurious twist. Featuring 10 foot ceilings, jacuzzi tubs, and upgraded amenities—including expanded kitchen cabinets and frameless closet doors—these suites offer the spaciousness and the amenities of a townhouse or deatched home within the context of a maintenance-free condo lifestyle. The two level configuration also means that each unit has a balcony and a ground level patio, while a separation between public and private areas—the living and dining rooms are downstairs, the bedrooms are upstairs—ensures a sense of privacy rarely found in condo suites.

Recently released floor-plans offer a first glimpse of what to expect from these unique, two-bedroom suites, which range in size from 987 to 1,119 feet. All suites will feature interiors by Tomas Pearce.

While all Town Lofts feature two-bedroom suites, the eight available configurations offer a significant variety of layouts. Some suites feature an enclosed den or a walk-in closet in lieu of a larger living/dining room, though other suites forgo these amenities in favour of a bigger central space. The range of square footage means that some units have substantially larger living and dining areas than others, accommodating a variety of lifestyles and budgets. Nonetheless, a relatively spacious and livable design is maintained throughout.

There are significant variations in balcony size and format, with corner units featuring a wrap-around balcony on the first floor, while other units feature rectangular balconies and patios. Most of the balconies are impressively spacious, with many spanning the entire length of the unit. Even the units that do not boast the luxury of a full-length balcony will appreciate the connection to the outdoors offered here at the base of TeaGarden Condos.

Residents of the Town Lofts will also be able to enjoy TeaGarden Condos' communal amenities, which include a gourmet hosting kitchen with wine bar seating, as well as a fitness centre, dining lounge, and guest suites.

We will keep you updated on the project's development as new details continue to emerge. In the meantime, additional information and all of the loft townhome plans can be found in our dataBase file for the project, linked below. Want to get involved in the discussion?
