Well it looks like the Simpson Tower has some serious competition for worst re-clad in Toronto's history. I'm actually speechless.

I've now realized the black is simply the reflection of TD and the DBS black building at York and Adelaide. God help us....

I loved the dark towers but the quality of this cladding seems to be top-notch. With the added environmental factors I think overall it's an alright change.

Admittedly, I’m a big fan of the original dark glass and cladding on these towers. I had a lot of doubts with the recladding initially, however this appears to be shaping up quite nicely. I’m happy to see that it is turning out so far. The fact that it is more reflective than transparent is really nice to see.
