Yes, heritage restoration and additional office space 2 min walk from Osgoode Station, what's not to like about the 85 Richmond Project.

Semi-relatedly, I noticed this morning that the Tata (formerly Zurich) building on University, in addition to being horribly re-clad, now has a monstrous carbuncle in the form of a one-storey pavilion glommed on the north side. There's no architectural indignity we won't inflict on our Modern office stock, I guess.

I'm optimistic based on the test cladding we've seen, at least for the Oxford Tower. But I will admit, that rendering is not flattering at all, thankfully, it is just that - for now.

Oh boy here we go again, as if the Simpson Tower's destruction wasnt enough. The worst part about this is that there will be hardly any design commonality points between any the 3 towers in this complex.
