I always love all the happy people in the "after" renders

Renderpeople usually are. Although I remember a promotional video for one of the Entertainment District towers that appeared to show a render-person arguing with the tower's render-concierge.

I like it. I'm glad it wasn't over designed like, say, June Callwood Park. People will come here to get a view of the city / fireworks / the lake so the park should'nt be overly fussy about itself.

I am glad to see this happening with West8 on board as it should give a real sense of continuity with the overall waterfront trail.

Nice landscaping but when are we going to get to the good part? I want to see some buildings that give me something to do. Looking at Lake Ontario is good for 5 minutes, then I need something else to keep me there. I didn't move to downtown Toronto to look at grass and trees. I want an urban park, with all kinds of animation and fun things to do. Where is the culture and entertainment?

Wasn't Ontario Place supposed to be an urban, highly animated park? (kind of like an Expo) Why are we trying to turn it into another Leslie Street Spit? Don't we have enough wilderness parks on the water already? What Toronto really needs are beautiful, impressive, urban parks that offers more than just nature.

I assume it will be an urban, highly animated park, but with a little slice of the Ontario Hinterland on the side. It isn't just another piece of the waterfront, and really looks nothing like the spit.
