I agree its not 365 church, but it's got the same colour scheme going on. Slightly higher quality materials, for sure, but still.. not looking good if you ask me.

We've got a front page update on this building now.

The mullions are natural, un-tinted aluminum, and they don't come at waist height as the windows (other than the operable ones) are full floor height (so no million mullion mess). The metal spandrels are a lighter platinum-gray than you'll find at 365 Church. Most importantly for the final look of the building, limestone bonded panels are coming to tie the new build visually to the former postal station.

I think we've got a good one coming here.

Looks good so far, though I’m not much of a fan of the aluminum mullions. I believe curtain wall would’ve appeared sleeker but you can tell the quality is there in this project. I’m also a big fan of the way the tower and heritage building interact, especially the cantilevered part.

Maybe a little too early to judge, but I don't think the red brick is successful. I imagine it was selected to "ease the transition from the tower to the 'neighbourhood'", but it's so incongruous with the rest of the building's materiality that it just looks forced to me.

But, maybe Montgomery Square is just going through its awkward teenage phase.
