Looks to me like the patio belongs to the condo building on top.

It doesn't belong to the Firkin chain. It belongs to a wee boutique hotel - or at least it did, a couple of summers ago, when my wife and I attended a dinner prepared there by an Australian couple who had a suite booked there for their 3-week stay. But yes, it's a great patio with wonderful sight lines. I shot a bunch of stuff up there, looking up and down Yonge St.

Thanks for the photos. It is very interesting to see how quickly this is moving along, especially in consideration of how tight the workplace is. In comparison to 10 York this is going up at warp speed.

Before it's gone forever once the building rises above-grade, note the ghost of the original 1905 banking hall on the rear façade of the heritage bank (the skylight and vault were removed in the 1950's) as can be seen on one of the original Darling & Pearson drawings:

I take it you are seeing the occasional black pic show up? In my case I am seeing @thecharioteer's most recent pic in black, but I see the others fine. It must be some server side issues we will have to look into.
