Like, what is up with that? /blehit's not even centred in the concrete....................
There was never a ramp contemplated for the Yonge frontage, given site constraints and the heritage building. There is a handicapped lift on the north side of the old bank that makes the front door accessible to all.there was supposed to be a ramp that starts immediately to the right of the entrance behind the column with a landing on the corner and another ramp to replace the right-most steps to the sidewalk, but that was nixed.
Now the accessible entrance is in the back of the building, which also serves as a mini lobby/waiting area for the automated parking.
That disc has been visible for weeks on Yonge street....I guess it took a long time to organize this commemoration?
