Road closure for tower crane removal:

The east wall of King+ Condos is a travesty..

The folks on the upper floors of The East Condos must be beside themselves, having to stare a blank concrete wall.

I just assumed it hadn't been clad yet. Are there any other examples of a giant unfinished concrete wall like this in the city?
In several cases the equivalent bare concrete walls have been "finished" with metal siding. Example are at King just WEST (edit) of Parliament (west wall) and at Queen @ Jarvis (east facing wall). Certainly in the latter case the siding might better have been foregone and the concrete poured better as it looks really quite poor already. At King + this east-facing wall will be there for decades as it is over a fairly new condo building that isn't going anywhere, the other two are over sites that are feasible for new developments in the next few years.

And that blank wall will be no more when 261 King East redevelops ... though that is not a rundown building screaming for redevelopment

In the interim, I fully expect east face of King+ to be stucco/paint finished in some fashion
