It's moving at a pretty typical pace.

The only thing which has gone slowly was the demolition of the old structure. I gather that was because they were carefully dismantling the building in order to preserve the facade for re-use. That part alone took several months, whereas it likely could've been done in a couple of weeks if they had done a regular demolition and simply turned the whole thing to rubble.

At the rate this building is moving I think I'm going to be 88 by the time 88 Scott gets built.

The excavators were lifted out of the site today.

Although it's not all that tall, this is one that i'm looking forward to seeing rise. It's not a complete square box from top to bottom. That alone is enough to grab my attention.

And the bottom half is not all glass.

It's a square box to me minus the uppermost levels. It's true that it isn't all glass though. Can't say if that is is a half full or half empty thing. See how the faked steps between concrete and glass translate in real life.

The best view from the street into the pit is from the northwest corner (on Colbourne)
