From the GO lot and at Railroad and Mill Streets, it still looks like a single-tower build. I think the diagonal two-tower massing will help with the clunky-ness that will likely result in the final product. At least the complete retention of the office part of the old factory gives some visual interest, and hopefully, when all is complete, it is used as a decent retail or restaurant space.

At least this adds density in an area that can use it, and it preserves much of an old factory building. Maybe when the balconies go up it’ll look a bit better. But this is very disappointing to see on a site that had great potential.

The only difference is that the heritage parts were left in place rather than dissembled and sloppily put back up.
