The Met + Encore at The Met (Edilcan, 43 + 33s, P+S) COMPLETE

Phase 2 is beginning to look as amazing as it's sister to the west so the balconies should look mighty good to us at the street. Unfortunately they're very shallow (about 4 feet) so they're not as wonderful practically.

From 80 Front East.

^^ Soon you'll be able to see Met 2 poking its head from behind that ugly slab on Gerrard.

I love the colour on Met, especially at dusk. It reflects a great light and is really an attractive addition to the skyline and the street.

What floor are they on now?

What floor are they on now? Has the building topped out yet? :) Anyone have any pics?

It looks like the 31st floor is being poured now, 4 floors + mech. to go

Only 2 floors left! :)

Only 2 floors plus mechanical. Encore is 33 floors. :)

Somehow I had 35 floors listed. Sorry 'bout that

Man those towers are close together. You could probably play badminton with your neighbours across the way on the 30th floor...

They are but they compliment each other so very well. Also, premium views are not compromised like Uptown/Blu and X/Couture.

Excellent point there about the views...I have a feeling that this will become a larger problem as more and more projects fill the empty parking lots which ever more sparsely populate the city. However, while it may seem that MET has solved this problem, one must remember that the towers are side by side laterally while your other examples are aligned longitudinally...The east-west views of blu/uptown etc. are relatively unaffected except for La Centre Manulife and the future Bull Shit Neighborhood (BSN)...

Still, the curvature looks great and does solve the problem of views to some extent.

DAMN this project looks good, great streetwall and skyline!

If by premium views you mean to the south then yes, they are not compromised, but they wouldn't be anyway, as the south side doesn't abut any properties. The two towers are essentially built on the east and west property lines so there are not a lot of windows on those sides.
