Rob Ford's Toronto

Didn't think to put Mikey in a school board seat - that's actually pretty clever on their part. He can win that and run for Ward 2 in 2018.

I hear he still has his Pokeman lunchbox so it'll be just like old times.

I tried google translate for councillor and it gave me "Rätin"

Krackskandalrätin just doesn't do it for me.:(

Rätin is the word for a female councillor (masculine form is Rat, which also means 'council' and 'counsel'). Google Translate makes strange choices sometimes.

It is also interesting that both dougfordformayor.ca and http://dougfordformayor.com were both registered this spring. #TOpoli

No surprise there.

So who is "Stephen Smith"?

Holy crap, Doug for Mayor. I sure called that one wrong. I'm stunned.
Poor Mikey.

Except that would probably be illegal, no? They'd be seen as a Rob Ford campaign expense, and this can't be transferred over to Doug.

Doug's campaign can buy the stuff. Must pay fair market value. (If effect, must deduct fair market value from the $1.3M camping expenditure limit of the Doug for Mayor camping expedition.)

Most of a hangover is dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. Plenty of water and sodium in ramen. It's made with dashi (a Japanese stock) and thus kombu, which is high in mono sodium glutamate, in addition there's soy sauce, miso, and other ingredients high in salts. And if you want the fats, Tonkotsu (pork) ramen has plenty of pork bone marrow fat in the broth, and pieces of charsiu (pork belly).

As a former fine dining line cook, I can tell you that many rely on Ramen to be able to get through hard drinking (amongst other, more Rob-friendly substances).

My wife, a 4-year resident of Japan also tells me that ramen is the go-to for hangovers there. Ramen is their cure-all meal.

I can see that the salts would address the electrolyte balance, but they wouldn't do anything for dehydration, would they?

I want both Tory and Chow to come out swinging here - "we wish Rob Ford a speedy recovery and the best of health, but we are tired of the games these brothers are playing with our city"

Bear in mind that if Rob Ford wins this election, he'll testify in the Lisi trial as a sitting councillor in the spring.

With all the gloves off, yay!
