I was cleaning out my bedroom end table a while back and this is what I found. I have no recollection of ever even meeting Ford when he was a councillor and I haven't lived in Toronto for over 13 years. Maybe we were both in a drunken stupor.

"The Village" or "The Rainbow Village" are more common (as someone who lives on its border).

"Mollywood" is another term, which of course, refers to Alexander Wood and Molly Wood's Bush.

Nobody in Toronto calls the Gay Village "Boystown". That's a Chicago term.

I think he's about the same, just that he's usually in a suit which hides the gut better.

As another writer posted recently, the facebook group "43 Down" lists ford-nation-approved candidates. I would expect that any populist right-wing nuts running for council would receive their support.
