Yup, it's shocking how this didn't get more attention - like honestly, you'd think that having a criminal background is a position requirement for working in his office.

This guy has been seen going into Robbie's office a couple of times in the last few days, as reported by the #rfmg sitters-in. That is new, so far as I can see. The claim is that he is SlumDoug's ward assistant, but it is hard to see why that would result in his suddenly visiting the mayor's office twice in a week.

If everyone brought handguns to the debate:

- Chow would surrender hers to a police officer and then issue a press release
- Tory would shoot himself in the foot... and then issue a press release
- Stintz would tell a story about how her family gets together to clean their firearms around the kitchen table
- Ford would use his as a prop for selfies
- Soknacki would field strip his while blindfolded and then deliver a 40 minute lecture on the relative merits of staggered column vs. single column magazines

ETA: Remember that only one of the five candidates has helped fund a violent gun-smuggling gang.

It would get people googling, maybe get the media asking some questions. I really hope Doug gets pressed on this; I'm really tired of he and Rob using the city as a jobs program for their burn-out friends.
