I asked MetroMan about the possibility of obstruction of justice charges for saying this stuff on Twitter. He claims his intel is technically public and that he's in the clear since he's not the person leaking it. Hmmm.

Reporters need to then ask if he is advocating for a new criminal policy in which those afflicted by drug addiction are given a chance to have their troubles considered "water under the bridge". His personal transgressions need to be tied to a soft-on-crime attack if his fan base is going to pay any attention.

City manager says Mayor Ford has achieved "923 million dollars in budget savings over the last 4 years." Release coming.
Apparently this number is from some VERY liberal interpretations of savings, like counting 'efficiencies' things that aren't efficiencies, and not taking added costs into consideration. Daniel Dale is mythbusting these claims right now.

And the other candidates need to read what Dale is writing and USE IT! They need to fight back with specifics, not just say Ford is lying.

I liked that article from Royson James that said that if you're using Ford's math that he saved a billion, then the exact same math means that David Miller saved 2 billion.
