That appears to have been the case with Metrolinx communications staffers who, in the weeks before the release of documents about a controversial grant-giving program, feared reporters would somehow link the agency’s spending spree to John Tory in the years before he ran for mayor.

Support for the Downtown Relief Line was high in every neighbourhood except for Scarborough.

See link. Scarborough wants subways, subways, subways. Even if a subway is needed better elsewhere.

BTW. The Relief Line support is at 52.6%, Scarborough Subway support is at 30%, and John Tory's SmartTrack is at 17%. Don't need a ranked ballot here, the Relief Line is the winner.

I don’t see what “Asia” with its superior transit, especially underground rail, built with public and private moneys has to do with Scarborough other than a large Asian population. (original article: http://www.metronews.ca/news/toront...-what-he-learned-on-transit-trip-to-asia.html).

“John Tory's SmartTrack”runs above ground and at this moment is only a series of local stations to shore up/compliment The Crosstown, proposed GO/GO RER and DRL (which areas span most of Toronto).

So, tell me, what does the article: http://www.metronews.ca/news/toronto/2016/04/20/torontonians-rank-relief-line-as-top-priority.html have to do with Armour’s comment of “By ‘Asia’ do they mean Scarborough?” in regard to the article about Tory praising Asian transit?

I’m genuine in my confusion concerning Amour’s comment, and more so by your comment about his; maybe clarification instead of pugnacity would be more helpful.
