Bay Adelaide Centre West Tower (Brookfield, 50s, WZMH)

One section of the next level of glass is up. It does look like this:

So the first level of glass up is indeed covering mechanical.

Ha ha...Lisa Rochon would have a field day!

Looking forward to seeing some of the real office floor cladding going up, sounds good!

I checked out the glass.

Looks good.

We should be ok on this one.

Ah thank you. Now I can sleep at night ;)

Seriously though, as I've said before, I think this one will actually turn out nicely. Nothing wrong with a classy box.

Actually Cal... I had a look at that one piece of "real" curtainwall and I gotta say that 700 feet of this will make you hero... it's going to be stunning.

Each piece has mirror reflectivity, yet from some angles it has transparency. And each piece has a 70% reflective component (lower part), and 30% of a slightly opaque/almost screened component (upper part).

There's alot of light play going on with each panel so the collective result @ 50+ storeys will be quite spectacular.

I wonder if we can expect any surprises from the mullions forming every 6 or 7 panels.

This tower is rising pretty quickly. The windows are okay...the tower should look pretty good with the lighting they have planned.
