Danforth subway viaduct near Castle Frank...

Android: I never knew that the TTC had covered the "slots" in the curved viaduct near Castle Frank Station - any reason they did that?
Was the roof of that viaduct accessible by trespassers?
I recall it was built to lessen noise in that area. LI MIKE
