That light pole - is it concrete,wood or steel?
Note the light box street sign on it - How old are those now?
They stand out in my memory from my Toronto visits.

^ It's steel and way past it's prime. I was walking down a sidestreet (St.Joseph) today and saw workers putting up nice new lamposts. You'd think they would do places like Queen & Bay first, considering it's right across from City Hall and a heavy tourist area. The lighted street signs, blue for north/south streets and yellow for east/west, I'm guessing they were put in around the late 60's early 70's. I think I've seen some with the 1967 centennial logo on them.
