^That would be an amusing photo: an old-fashioned picnic amid a construction site. It would be so very urban Toronto.
 
Today at 1BE. Backfill is almost complete. The first piece of shoring equipment is on site. This is the oldest piece of construction equipment I have ever seen. Cross your fingers if you bought a condo here.

I attach an update of my Bloor/Yorkville elevations... as a before and after.

For newbies, yes this is a flattened compression of 3 n/s blocks but it remains a fun "to scale" look at change.

I added Cumberland and ghosted 4 Seasons redevelopment (who knows?).

Jarvis and Bloor is hilarious. Sorry CasaGuy.. couldn't find an elevation for BStneighbourhood.

yep, that is great eye candy! fingers crossed, in 5 or 6 years we should be able to post real panos of that Bloor Street skyline... I'll put it on my list of things to do before dying.

Hi Tomms - it's a Lumix DMC-FZ18, so not even a DSLR, but it's got quite a nice zoom on it.
