Yes, from what I understand as well, this isn't a part of some exit strategy, but rather just unprofitability. Leaside was too small and the location was just a bit too far to ever properly materialize steady clientele from wealthier neighborhoods, and Sheppard + Yonge was very expensive to rent to without the clientele to shop there. All other GTA locations are safe at this moment, they're all profitable and benefit from MUCH cheaper rent agreements.

It appears to be retail, not condos. Dental Practice, Shoppers Drug Mart, Life Labs, TD bank etc. etc.

Well colour me surprised.
If that's the case, if it's the 2nd location i'm thinking east of Spadina, that would be quite shocking.
