We've got this mall expansion, LRT construction starting and E condo construction starting. Should be a fun next few years
This intersection will probably be quite different when the dust settles.
This mall project doesn't seem to be moving very fast though. The inside of the mall is looking quite different now as well.

Yes but I wonder if any complaints from E Condo residents when completed will end the exterior ones.

I'm fine with Yonge-Eg becoming a little more more Yonge-Dundas-like.

Maybe one day, Yonge & Eglinton will have a lively, downtown vibe. I think it's just a matter of time.

With the amount of pedestrians at Yonge-Eg, and the Crosstown bringing in even more people to the intersection, it is the right course of action.

It's too bad RioCan scrapped the proposal to expand and renovate the office towers. Not only would it improve the look of the area, it would increase and improve the commercial space in this area.

I personally think the bigger aesthetic problem are the brutalist apartments next to those office buildings:
