Thanks for the update. Im curious as to how the core will be built. Is the entire tower section going to be made of steel? (My appologies if this has been asked before)
 
I wondering: wouldn't it be costing them more to do it this way rather than demolish and rebuild?

Not sure but
I'd guess they went this way so the buildings tenants could stay in the building and keep that revenue verses ending the leases
 
This building, when complete, will have a great mix of commercial and residential — and St. Patrick Station at the steps.
 
Just walked by and more of the x frame is installed now.

Something about the angles of the X frame on the west side look slightly off to me.
 
hmm, yea you're right now that I'm looking at that pic again, the line doesn't entirely look straight. Might just be the angle I snapped the shot, but maybe someone can get a closer pic of the west side.
