I know they can only make recommendations, and they have no control in the end on what is eventually erected, but there should have been some response to this abysmal outcome. This is on one of the cities main thoroughfares,
and this is the best it can be? I don't think so . There are apparently some pretty low standards to meet if this is acceptable.
 
Good god I hate when people call “projection mapping” 3D. It’s a trompe l’œil, only correctly viewable from a single angle. Great idea, forced perspective, but NOT 3D.
I mean, neither was the sprite scaling in early Sega AM2 titles, but it felt real enough. Does it really matter?
