Are those , what looks like a "stone wall" on church next to the hot stove entrance?

Why woudl they remove those? and if so, I thougth the 'facade' was to stay 'intact'???

looks like those are new windows too. wonder when rye and loblaws will sell the rest of the seats and maby doors railings etc to the public or if there going too use the remaining mlg seats for the new rink
