I don't get that impression at all - I think she's just sucking in her gut for the photograph.

Anorexia is Spire ... and Maple Leaf Square.
 
I'm thinking this tower looks better on its East-West side versus the North-South. Its slender profile makes it look so much taller than it really is and soon we will be able to appreciate its sloping roof.

Is it me or is that rendering out of proportion. Seems a lot taller than 53 stories. It's like half the height of the CN Tower!
 
It looks taller because it's closer to you than the tower is. Look at the tower in proportion to the RBC building and you will find that the render is indeed accurate.
 
ditto to PE's thoughts ... the building scales distortion is due to the angular persective

since RBC is 41s and Ritz is 53s, proportionally the rendered height seem accurate
