The quality of the glass is top notch, but the lines look poorly executed up close (thankfully this won't be visible from the ground).

There are a fair number broken and missing glass if you look closely at the tower. Things happen during insulation that will require some being replace, but not close to what taken place on L Tower, Trump Tower and a few others I have seen to date.

Indeed. Has an explanation been offered as to why balcony glass is so late? I mean, there's trees in the amenity space already.

Who says it's late? They are probably following a construction schedule and will install the balconies when it's time. They've been installing the railings further up and up the tower, so clearly the balconies are on their minds. Also, as far as I could tell, when the 6-7 floors of balcony glass was installed, it was done fairly quickly.
