Reminds me of a rubik's cube.... nice.

In other news, specially the Junction area, True Blue Vintage is history (no surprise really), and Keele St north of Dundas has new stores opening in anticipation of all those yuppie condo owners: Russet and Empire is a cool gift/accessories/design shop, some Doggy Spa for those lonely but spoiled condo dogs, and on the east side, Roncevalles Ms Huzienga (sp?) a vintage clothing and furniture store has opened a second location. Further west on Dundas, near Little Fish some fancy cheese and bread shop has opened, and across the street, Junction Ice Cream. The Junction is quickly starting to remind me of Roncevalles...time to move to grittier pastures? (Like Rogers Rd and Weston Rd area?)

Design Within Reach appears to be expanding its showroom into the adjacent space (DTZ Barnicke's For Lease signs are gone and DWR adverts are in the windows). This is the retail space next to Calphalon's Culinary Centre that was occupied by the R-Shop furniture cafe a few years ago and very breifly by ICON Home Design, which sold outdoor furniture.

'For Lease' signs on the retail space on the other side of DWR have also come down. This space was occupied by a high-end contemporary kitchen store for a while called Casa-Cucine.

The former blink and its gone bubble tea place on Yonge at Isabella has been replaced with a payday loans place.

That's like #15 between Wellesley and Bloor on Yonge.

Someone with some business acumen, please explain the logic of this to me. I get that usury is a good way to make money, but seriously, is there a call for so many different joints to get scammed at?

Younge St has so much potential but it's complete shit IMO. Money Marts, discount stores, XXX shops, crappy shawarma restaurants and internet cafes make up the majority of the stores from Bloor to Gerrard. Straight booty
