Could the crane be coming down too or just the BMU going up?

Any update on when the crane is coming down?

Yeah it is a real wasted opportunity. Too bad. This plaza is a FAIL! I have never seen a single person in this plaza and I walk by it almost daily. Then again, there is nowhere for anyone to sit if they wanted to enjoy that publically funded space. Walking by, one would think this is private property restricted from public use. Why is there no public seating?
The Sony Centre has plans (or hopes??) of a coffee shop operation that will use the 'plaza' for seating.Seating encourages loitering. Why would anyone want that?!?
Wow, it seems the BMU will actually, finally, really be installed this time. May 2018 - one month for the history books if it happens!Could the crane be coming down too or just the BMU going up?

I'm sure someone has already said it, but it doesn't look like an L anymore!Like many, disappointed with how the public space has turned out. Sculptures, lack of fountain, and plantings are all sub-par in my opinion.

Wasn't that paid for with public funds? In my mind, once I'm paying for it, I want somewhere to sit!Seating encourages loitering. Why would anyone want that?!?
Read the posts above! So apparently according to a post from Reddit, the crane is finally coming down?
**NEWS FLASH** May 9, 2018: The BMU parts have been delivered and are now being hoisted up to the top. One of the workers told me that it will take about 2 weeks to assemble the parts, and the temporary derrick will come down a few weeks after that. So hopefully the crane at the top of L Tower will disappear by the end of June.
