The density transformation here is astonishing but other than exciting drone views I wonder about quality of life issues at street level... the lost bars (fewer arrests granted), restaurants etc. Is this really going to remain an "entertainment district"?

Sure, the clubs are gone. I'd say the area still has more entertainment to offer than any other area of the city. If you go by Google Maps' boundaries, it includes (obviously) the Bell Lightbox, Scotiabank Theatre, and Second City to name a few. Google includes a large area south of the tracks with the dome, CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, and the ACC.This hasn't been the "entertainment district" for nearly a decade...
