Though it's turning out better than expected, the fact that there are two almost identical towers in this complex amplifies the monotony in the area ... Also, the two towers side by side are pretty oppressive and appear like a monster structure from some vantage points. Would've been nice if they'd at least differentiated them

I really like the charcoal brick that they're doing the podium in. You can see it being put up in the laneway behind Mercer street. I think once that all comes together with the attractive fritted (is that the right word?) balconies up above this will be a nice addition to the area.
