Toronto Haven On The Bluffs Condos | 38.71m | 10s | VHL Developments | Master Building

wow, you would think they would patch the seams and other irregularities in the exterior walls before they painted over it.
The easy way of spraying stucco (or a parge coat) over it would have been a hugely better and too easy improvement over this.
Or there maybe exterior cladding has yet to be installed?...

VHL builds really cheap looking buildings. I don't think they are that cheap.

The rendering shows brick or a brick treatment.

I receive occupancy date at Aug. 2018.I bought the Penthouse of Lakeview four years ago.

Does anyone know if they've abandoned the original plan to have brick and stone on the building?

It appears that the entire tower is going to be stucco.

Was wondering the same today. Workers seemed to be putting brown stucco on the lower portion. Hope im wrong. So much potential here

Edit* When I look closer at the latest renderings it looks like light brown stucco lower 20% of building, brick 30% and 50% white stucco. So ill withhold any pre judgments of another VHL bomb

I haven't laughed that hard in awhile...so true!! We are hoping for the best too. When they released the updated drawings it looked as though VHL was trying to depart from its typically underwhelming elevations. Looking at the building now, it seems as though they are just rushing to close it up before winter.

.A coat of primer now covers the lower levels in advance of the exterior finishes. At ground level, Haven on the Bluffs will be clad in a mix of stone veneer and "Hampshire Gray" stucco. A three-storey brick section will cover levels 2 through 4, with the terraced upper levels to be finished in white stucco. Punched windows and glass balcony guards will be installed throughout.

I'm assuming this was copied from a previous UT article back in August? Doesn't seem to be the case that they are installing stone, as there is stucco board up to the 6th floor.

Has anyone driven by lately or heard any news about occupancy? I got an email from VHL asking for my lawyer's contact info for closing.
