Workers were hard at it today

Maybe the new panels are in these crates

Tower recladding doesn't start until Q1 2010, so I'm gonna guess that there are no new panels in those crates.

Lets remember that on all new buildings, cladding/curtain wall glass comes first as a small sample which is then tested, after which the order is places in full.

I suspect they are preparing to test the new cladding material. Q1 2010 is just around the corner..

It was a 500T crane been used. That some beast.

I got a photo of it been dismantle and will post it when I fix the photo's from Sat I shot.

It would have been nice to get a shot of it in action.

Your building must be getting pretty sick of construction disturbances by now!

it seems so much of the city is in perpetual (re)construction.

The city will never be finished. It will be in perpetual (re)construction. I have to admit, I've never seen so many cranes up in this city at once.

There's a late 1970's book my grandmother owns called: "Boom Town". I think the same title can be applied again to this city for the 2000's. :)

well, I wasnt simply referring to highrise construction. Hasnt Hwy 427 been continuously under construction for the last 20 years. I think its a conspiracy to keep us all repressed and frustrated!;)

At top of the tower, there is alot of stone down now beside the BMO logo, on the north and west sides. I was surprised to see so much of it taken off already. :)
