Toronto Exhibit Residences | 99.97m | 32s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

From this morning. I just realized for the first time that images can actually be dragged into here and you don't even have to use the "Upload A File" button in the bottom right.

I'm shocked. Shocked, I tells ya, about how nicely this has turned out. I won't kvetch about how another rotated block of 8 or 9 floors would have really made this something special, but I won't not kvetch about it either.

Every time I see a picture with that tiny Gabby's property, I imagine the owner holding out and mistakenly expecting to have the last laugh. I just cannot imagine what can ever be done with that property now. I assume it will remain like that in perpetuity, or until such time as there is so much density in Toronto that somebody decides to build something tall and unimaginably skinny on it? Such an odd little spot, but neat.

In the future, the owner of the aging and unremarkable office building next door might redevelop the property and buy out that tiny building. It could also make for an interesting location for a gallery in a standalone pavilion-type building (narrow and tall). I'm thinking of something like the Calatrava atrium at Brookfield Place, but built for for exhibiting art.
