One only has to look to South Core to see the benefits of mixed use areas. Residential beside office beside hotel beside entertainment equates to 24/7 viability. If the city and GG want a lot of retail here then they'll need to have more than just M-F office tenants doing the shopping.I'm tired of people pushing for residential here. Innovation Centre? Menkes apparently has something signed, or close to.Hines Bayfront, or First Gulf's 25 Ontario.
…except that none of those are anything more than placeholders: no buildings have been designed yet, that's a representation of general massing.
