Lot more up on site.

Very hard to get shots of Keelesdale and Caledonia Station and of the west portal. Lots of equipment in the way since non working day.

Crew working in various location and it wasn't the only site I saw crews working today.

There's several PCCs and CLRVs that have been re-gauged over the years - it's only a minor adjustment of about an inch to each wheel. It's not a show-stopper.

That's not, but having the doors on the wrong side in the stations most definitely is.

I only read the thread as far up as "Isn't the subway built to TTC gauge? ". Subway cars have doors on both sides.

Track gauge is the distance between the RAILS.
Correct. So if the rails are two inches further apart, then if you move the wheels on one side of the car by an inch, and then moves the wheels on the other side of the car by an inch, you have now got the same gauge.

Each wheel only needs to move an inch.

I have no idea why you'd want to do this though, other than moving TTC-gauge streetcars and subway cars to the Guelph Radial museum.

The discussion was about whether you can retrofit a CLRV onto the Crosstown for show for some reason. I wasn't trying to pick on your point specifically.
Sure you can change gauge for the CLRV wheels to fit Crosstown tracks, but good is that when the CLRV needs a loop to turn around??? Then why do you want to use a car that is out data and hard to maintain, let alone to small to carry the ridership??

TTC bought and sold PCC where the trucks had to be re-gauge to fit TTC system or the system the cars been sold to.

Looks like they got quite a bit of Mount Dennis Station done already. And, in addition, the maintenance facility is already done. I wonder if Line 5 will actually open in 2021, or if it will not.

Having a large portion of Mount Dennis Station complete only shows that Crosslinx is able to complete things, it doesn’t mean they’ll complete on time.

I was mentioning it for the opening day for Eglinton Station so that the mural becomes a reality. Pure PR move.

They just have to pair two of the CLRV back to back, like they did with the PCC work cars.
